Myanmar confirmed its first cases of of the deadly novel coronavirus late Monday after weeks of increasing scepticism its claims to be free of the disease.
Medics and activists say tuberculosis, or TB, cases are increasing in Myanmar. It’s an infectious disease which usually affects the lungs and can be fatal. Drug resistance is also a growing concern.
