BBC news headlines in Burmese now on Frontier Myanmar

In a first for the BBC in Myanmar, news headlines from BBC Burmese are now directly available to visitors of Frontier Myanmar. Top ten news headlines from the BBC’s Burmese site will be published on Frontier Myanmar’s Burmese language website every day, allowing users to click through to full BBC stories.

“We are really thrilled to be expanding our reach via a distinguished media group such as Frontier Myanmar,” said BBC Burmese Editor Soe Win Than. “ Over and beyond our top ten stories, visitors to our website will find in-depth analyses of the events and trends that are relevant to them, as well as features on a wide range of themes, video and audio stories.”

Sonny Swe, CEO of Frontier Myanmar, adds: “Over the last two and half years, Frontier Myanmar has been trying to report the true news of Myanmar and has been recognised internationally as ‘the window on Myanmar’. I am glad and proud to partner with an internationally renowned broadcaster such as the BBC.”
