Episode 15: The trial of Mai Cho Min Htwe

14-year-old schoolboy Mai Cho Min Htwe is today languishing in a Mandalay Children Detention Center accused of a crime his family say he did not commit. He was jailed for two years for allegedly being involved with the Ta’ang National Liberation Army. His lawyers say he was convicted without a proper trial and claim the boy has been tortured during his 3 months in prison. Listen on Soundcloud and YouTube below.
