A common desire for autonomy among Chin people has helped turn their state into one of Myanmar’s main sites of armed struggle, but resistance leaders say more needs to be done to strengthen unity.
Indian investigators have arrested seven foreigners, including six Ukrainians and an United States citizen, on suspicion of illegally crossing into neighbouring Myanmar to train armed resistance groups, an Indian public radio broadcaster reported on Tuesday.
