A number of hostages seized by the Arakan Army in a raid on a ferry packed with scores of Myanmar security forces have been killed, both sides said.
A regime airstrike on a market in western Myanmar killed 33 people on Monday and wounded 36 more, the Arakan Army, which controls the area, said in a statement.
