Almost 50,000 people have been displaced by fighting in northern Myanmar after an alliance of ethnic armed groups launched an offensive against the military two weeks ago, the United Nations said today.
A regime airstrike in Rakhine State’s Kyauktaw Township in June killed eight civilians, including the wife and son of Ko Sithu Hein, who spoke with Doh Athan about the bombing and his sorrow and guilt over their deaths.
