A liberalization of Myanmar’s telecommunications sector has contributed to the arrival of new applications aimed at keeping voters informed in November’s election.
Norwegian authorities said on Tuesday they had carried out a search at the headquarters of Norwegian telecoms operator Telenor, which is suspected of complicity in crimes against humanity in Myanmar.
