Myanmar's military claimed on Wednesday to have recaptured a town on the Thai border, expanding the frontier trade crossings it claims to control in the grinding civil war.
Myanmar refugees have been deterred by harsh farm work in eastern Thailand, far from the camps and their families, but aid workers say more job options will become available as bureaucracy is eased and more employers hear of the programme.
