Myanmar junta touts surrender of over 500 resistance fighters

More than 500 Myanmar resistance fighters surrendered to the junta, the military said Thursday, with Agence France-Presse journalists witnessing a disarming ceremony that one resistance faction suggested was a propaganda stunt.
