Conflict along Myanmar’s western border is harming access to education. This week, in partnership with Chin World, Doh Athan reports from Paletwa, the largest township in Chin State, where fighting has led to a severe shortage of teachers. Many teachers have fled the area or are afraid to travel to schools, and although Paletwa has more schools than any other township in Chin State, it has one of the worst student matriculation rates in the country.
