Episode 61: A Dawei land dispute

Residents of several villages close to Dawei, the capital of Tanintharyi Region, say that a nearby tin mine is contaminating their water supplies and affecting their livelihoods and their children’s health.

This week, in partnership with Dawei Watch, Doh Athan travels to these villages to hear about the concerns local residents have.
