Southeast Asian leaders strongly condemned violence and attacks on civilians in Myanmar, directly blaming the ruling junta, with host Indonesia saying at a summit on Tuesday there had been scant progress on an agreed peace plan.
A Myanmar military airstrike has killed seven civilians including a five-year-old child in the country's conflict-ravaged west, a witness and a rescue worker said Thursday.
