The arrests in India of seven foreigners accused of crossing into Myanmar to help resistance groups has raised fresh concerns about security along the rugged, porous border between the two countries.
India gave a red-carpet welcome on Monday to Myanmar's junta leader-turned president Min Aung Hlaing – his first trip abroad since becoming civilian leader – with talks focusing on security and trade.
