Myanmar’s military razed Rohingya villages and farmland in northern Rakhine State in “a coordinated and organized operation” to strip the minority of land rights, a United Nations independent investigative body said.
Rohingya refugees who have made perilous sea journeys from Myanmar and from refugee camps in Bangladesh face discrimination, harassment and detention in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.
