Effective for: Boomerang Media Pte Ltd, trading as Frontier Myanmar (“Company,” “We,” “Us”)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using https://frontiermyanmar.net (the “Website”) or registering with us, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree, do not use the Website or our Digital Products.

2. Services Description

We operate a digital news platform offering (but not limited to) the following Digital Products:

Paywalled articles in English: Available to registered users and paying members.
Non-paywalled articles in Burmese: Available to all visitors.
Free newsletters: Delivered via email to registered users and paying members.
Paid newsletters and content: Delivered via email or other electronic medium, such as our Website, to paying members.
Podcasts: Available to listeners through the Website and third-party platforms.

3. User Accounts

Registration: Users must create an account to access most of our Digital Products, including English articles and newsletters. Users may also purchase a Membership. You do not necessarily need to purchase a Membership to use our Digital Products, but if you do not your access will be limited.
Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful information during registration.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and agree to inform us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Payment and Membership

Membership: Frontier offers paid Memberships to both individuals and institutions. You can view our Membership packages here. We may also offer gift memberships or other limited-time packages from time to time.
Access: Your Membership grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use exclusive Digital Products, including news articles, newsletters and events, for the duration of your Membership period.
Modifications: We reserve the right to modify the content, type and availability of any Digital Product at any time. If you do not cancel your Membership after the modifications become effective, you agree to the modifications. We also reserve the right to enable free access to our Digital Products for periods of time and you will not be eligible for a full or partial refund if we do this.
Fees: Memberships are billed via Stripe in US dollars at the price and frequency specified on our website. Prices are listed here. We reserve the right to change our pricing or fees at any time.
Auto-Renewal: Memberships renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing cycle.
Refunds: No refunds are offered except at our discretion, for example in case of duplicate charges or technical errors.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, including paid Memberships, and/or to limit access to our Digital Products, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Violations of these Terms.
Unauthorised sharing of members-only content, including by forwarding paid newsletters or articles to non-members.
Violation of Chatham House Rule or other rules for in-person or online events.
Fraudulent payment activity.

In the event of termination or suspension, we will not offer you a refund and you agree that we have no liability to you.

7. Intellectual Property

All content (including but not limited to articles, newsletters, podcasts, logos) is owned by Boomerang Media Pte Ltd. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute it without written permission. Sharing paywalled content (e.g., screenshots, redistributing) is strictly prohibited.

8. Disclaimers

News Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness of content.
Third-Party Links: We are not responsible for external websites linked in our content.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

Indirect damages (e.g., loss of data, profits) arising from use of our Digital Products, including our Website.
Interruptions in service due to technical issues.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Singapore.

11. Privacy

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available here. Any personal information you provide to Frontier in the registration process will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
