The Myanmar military’s conscription law has sparked a mass exodus of young people, further buffeting an already struggling economy and incentivising child labour to fill the gaps.
Southeast Asian foreign ministers pressed their Myanmar regime's counterpart for "concrete" progress on a stagnant ASEAN peace plan for the country during a meeting in Bangkok on Sunday, top Thai and Philippine diplomats said.
