Nationalist protests are spreading across Myanmar with an unusual target – military leader Min Aung Hlaing – while the level of organisation and funding suggests they may have the backing of some factions of the military.
Myanmar's Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received a package from Britain's King Charles III on Monday, the regime said, releasing the first pictures of the detained Nobel laureate in two months and describing her as a "special female prisoner."
