Fighting in Magway and Sagaing regions is wreaking havoc with the livelihood of farmers, disrupting the harvest and preventing crops from getting to the market.
Severe monsoon flooding has swamped villages and paddy fields in central Myanmar, forcing people out of their homes including those already displaced by war, an Agence France-Presse reporter and the United Nations said.
