More than 10,000 people displaced by heavy fighting at Mindat in Chin State are marooned in camps and forests, cut off from most sources of relief as the annual rains begin.
Indian investigators have arrested seven foreigners, including six Ukrainians and an United States citizen, on suspicion of illegally crossing into neighbouring Myanmar to train armed resistance groups, an Indian public radio broadcaster reported on Tuesday.
