Diminishing returns are making the hard lives of artisan miners even harder in some areas of central Myanmar, where traditional methods of mining for oil have existed for centuries.
A blast in northern Myanmar killed dozens of people on Sunday, two rescue workers said, with the resistance group controlling the area saying it was caused by the accidental detonation of mining explosives.
