A gas explosion in the Wa Self-Administered Division in Myanmar's eastern borderlands has killed 16 people and injured dozens, the Wa army said.
On May 31, a massive warehouse explosion in Kaung Tap village, in northern Shan State’s Namkham Township, damaged hundreds of houses and killed dozens of residents, leaving survivors to deal with the aftermath and leading some to wonder whether it is even worth rebuilding.
