Nearly 30 years after becoming head of a government-in-exile formed at a jungle base on the border with Thailand, Dr Sein Win has returned to Myanmar.
Myanmar's junta moved deposed leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to house arrest last week but that was not enough to ease deep divisions among ASEAN leaders over how best to engage with the pariah state.
