Myanmar wrapped up a remarkably peaceful election on Sunday, although the process was dogged by opposition complaints of crowded polling stations, duplicated ballots and allegations of vote-buying.
Myanmar's junta moved deposed leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to house arrest last week but that was not enough to ease deep divisions among ASEAN leaders over how best to engage with the pariah state.
