The National League for Democracy government has been working to resolve the situation in Rakhine State since soon after taking office and criticism of its efforts by the international community is unfair.
Myanmar's Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received a package from Britain's King Charles III on Monday, the regime said, releasing the first pictures of the detained Nobel laureate in two months and describing her as a "special female prisoner."
