Podcast: Returning to the mines

This week, we hear from a poor mining town in upper Sagaing Region. The town has been crippled by the COVID-19 pandemic, with gem prospectors and scavengers out of work and small businesses suffering. As they prepare to re-open the mines, locals face the prospect of trying to prevent and manage COVID-19 with limited health services on offer.
