This week, we visit a fishing village in the Myeik Archipelago in Taninthayi Region where locals say they are working in conditions similar to slavery for the local fishery owner. They are paid in goods instead of cash, and many are in debt to their owner and unable to leave. We joined a local MP to visit the island to see conditions for ourselves.
